With 676TB written, and some interesting results regarding write amplification (coming in the next post), we have decided to modify this test to have a much larger static file. This time it will occupy 85% of the disk, and provide significantly more stress to the controller as it tries to ensure the flash wears evenly. A quick look at the SMART stats reveals that everything is still looking very healthy, so we will write another 150TB and then see how performance and longevity are affected:
